Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Installing top tether strap

WARNING

  • Child restraint anchorages are designed only for loads from correctly installed child restraints. Never attach adult belts or other equipment to them. Damage could compromise safety and lead to serious injury or death.
  • Do not attach the tether hook to the seatback carpet. Always use the designated tether anchor point.

The top tether strap must be used when installing a forward-facing child restraint with LATCH lower anchors in your Nissan Rogue.

First, secure the child restraint with the lower anchors.

1. Remove the head restraint/headrest and store it in a secure area. Reinstall it after the restraint is removed.

2. Position the top tether strap as shown.

3. Attach the top tether strap to the tether anchor point.

4. Refer back to the child restraint installation steps before tightening the strap fully.

If you have questions about installing a top tether strap, it is recommended to visit a NISSAN dealer for assistance.
