Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Service Manual: Basic Inspection :: Anti-Pinch Inspection
Description
If any of the following operations are performed, the initialization is necessary for normal operation of anti-pinch function. Refer to Work Procedure.

When front power window motor (driver side) replaced.
-
Power supply to the front power window motor (driver side) is not cut off properly.
-
Removal and installation of regulator assembly.
-
Removal and installation of front power window motor (driver side) from regulator assembly.
-
Operation of regulator assembly as an independent unit.
-
Removal and installation of door glass.
-
Removal and installation of door glass run.
Work Procedure
CHECK ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION
-
Fully open the front door glass (driver side).
-
Place a piece of wood near fully closed position.
-
Close front door glass (driver side) completely with AUTO-UP.
-
Check the following conditions.
-
Check that front door glass (driver side) lowers for 5.71 in (145 mm) without pinching piece of wood and stops.
-
Check that front door glass (driver side) does not rise when operating the power window main switch while lowering.
CAUTION:
-
Perform initial setting when AUTO-UP operation or anti-pinch function does not operate normally.
-
Check that AUTO-UP operates before inspection when system initialization is performed.
-
Never check with hands and other body parts because they may be pinched. Never get pinched.
