DTC Description

NOTE:

  • When the ignition switch is placed ON, the DTC may be detected. If it has been detected due to previous error/operation, erase the history once and check if the DTC is detected again.

  • When holding down the power window lock switch for 30 seconds or more, the power window will be locked and this DTC will be detected. After that, if the ignition switch is OFF (auto ACC OFF status) and then ON again, it will be previous error and the power window lock status will be released.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Power window main switch

FAIL SAFE

  • When power window lock switch is held down for 30 seconds or more, power window lock status continues

  • Ignition switch OFF (auto ACC OFF status), and then ignition switch ON again to cancel the power window lock status.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 1 minute with the front door (driver side) open.

  2. Ignition switch ON.

  3. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM” and erase DTC.

  4. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 1 minute with the front door (driver side) open.

  5. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds.

  6. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.

  7. Check DTC.

Is DTC detected?

YES-1>>

CRNT: Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

YES-2>>

PAST: GO TO 2.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK OPERATION

Check that power window main switch operates normally.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
