Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
Never damage the body panel.
REMOVAL
Front Floor Carpet
Remove front seat assembly (LH and RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove cross member. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove dash side finisher (LH and RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove center pillar lower garnish (LH and RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove center console assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove active noise control unit (if equipped). Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove steering member stay. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove drain hose. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Disconnect harness connectors and harness clips.
Remove front floor carpet.
Rear Floor Carpet
Remove rear seat assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove luggage side lower finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove rear floor carpet.
INSTALLATION
Note the following item, and then install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Replace carpet hook and ring with a new part after removal. Never reuse carpet hook and ring.

Check that the electric power steering warning lamp turns ON when
