Component Inspection
CHECK THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Reconnect all harness connectors disconnected.

Refer to Work Procedure.

Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Set selector lever to D position.
-
Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminals under the following conditions.
ECM Condition
Voltage Connector + − Terminal F72 57 45 Accelerator pedal Fully released 0.31 V Fully depressed 4.47 V 52 Fully released 4.55 V Fully depressed 0.23 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Replace electric throttle control actuator. Refer to Exploded View.
