3. Rear door lock assembly (door switch)

Transmits the door switch signal to the BCM.

6. Front door request switch RH (if so equipped)

Transmits the door request switch signal to the Intelligent Key unit.

Transmits the door lock/unlock switch signal to the BCM.

Door unlock sensor (front door LH)

Transmits the door unlock sensor signal to the BCM.

Transmits the door request switch signal to the Intelligent Key unit.

11. Rain and light sensor (with ProPILOT Assist 2.1)

Transmits the light sensor signal to the BCM via LIN communication.

12. Back door lock assembly (ajar switch)

Transmits the ajar switch signal to the BCM.

Back door opener switch (request switch)

Transmits the door request switch signal to the Intelligent Key unit.

15. Optical sensor (without ProPILOT Assist 2.1)

Transmits the optical sensor signal to the BCM.

16. Combination meter

Controls illumination depending on Nissan Ariya vehicle conditions.

Refer to Combination Meter (with type A meter) or Combination Meter (with type B meter) for detailed component location.
17. BCM (Body Control Module)
  • Controls the interior room lamp relay using the interior room lamp timer function depending on Nissan Ariya vehicle conditions.
  • Operates the room lamp battery saver feature depending on the vehicle conditions to turn interior lamps ON or OFF.
  • Operates the interior room lamps by controlling the interior room lamp relay combined with controlling lamp grounds depending on input conditions.

18. Illumination control switch

Illumination control switch is integrated with the combination meter and controls illumination.

Refer to Combination Meter (type A) or Combination Meter (type B) for detailed component location.
19. Combination switch (lighting and turn signal switch)

Transmits the combination switch signal to the BCM.

20. Push-button ignition switch

Push-button ignition switch illumination is controlled by the Intelligent Key unit.

Mood lamp (center console)

23. Intelligent Key unit

Transmits the door lock/unlock request signal to the BCM via CAN communication.

24. Interior room lamp relay Turns ON/OFF the interior room lamps based on the control signal from the BCM and depending on Nissan Ariya vehicle conditions.
