Door Request Switch

Description

Reminder function does not operate using door request switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK “ANSWER BACK” SETTING IN “WORK SUPPORTS”

CONSULT

  1. Select “Answer back” in “Work supports” mode of "INTELLIGENT KEY".

  2. Check the “Answer back” in “Work supports”.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Set “On” in “Answer back”.

CHECK HAZARD FUNCTION

Check hazard function.

Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER

Check Intelligent Key warning buzzer.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT

  1. Replace Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Intelligent Key

Description

Reminder function does not operate using Intelligent Key.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK “ANSWER BACK” SETTING IN “WORK SUPPORTS”

  1. Select “Answer back” in “Work supports” mode of "INTELLIGENT KEY".

  2. Check the “Answer back” in “Work supports”.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Set “On” in “Intelligent Key system answer back function setting”.

CHECK “HORN BEEPS ON LOCK” SETTING IN COMBINATION METER

Check “Horn beeps on lock” setting is “ON”.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Set “ON” in “Horn beeps on lock”.

CHECK HAZARD FUNCTION

Check hazard function.

Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

CHECK HORN FUNCTION

Check horn function.

Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT

  1. Replace Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>
