Component Inspection
WARNING:
Unlike normal tester resistance meters, an insulation resistance tester (multi-tester) is for measuring an insulation resistance with 500 V applied to an insulating area, so its incorrect use can cause electric shock. Also note that using this tester on the 12 V battery system in a Nissan Ariya vehicle can damage the electrical equipment.
Carefully read the instruction manual for the insulation resistance tester and perform the tasks safely.
SPARK PLUG RESISTANCE VALUE CHECK

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Remove the spark plug.

Check the resistance of the spark plug under the following conditions.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Replace spark plug(s) with standard type one(s). For spark plug type, refer to Spark Plug.

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect EOP sensor harness connector.
Check resistance between EOP sensor connector terminals.
