Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Installing top tether strap
WARNING
- Child restraint anchorages are designed only for correctly installed restraints. Never attach adult seat belts or other equipment to these points—doing so may damage the anchors and compromise safety.
- Avoid hooking the tether strap on the seatback carpet. Always use the designated tether anchor.
The top tether strap must be used when installing a forward-facing child restraint with seat belts in your Nissan Rogue.
First, secure the child restraint with the seat belt.
1. Remove the head restraint/headrest and store it safely. Reinstall it after removing the child restraint.
2. Route the top tether strap as shown.
3. Attach the tether strap to the tether anchor.
4. Refer to earlier installation steps before tightening the tether fully.
If you have questions about installing a tether strap, NISSAN recommends contacting a dealer.
