Signal (terminal) BCM (CPU).
Threshold When a CPU functional abnormality is detected by BCM internal self-diagnosis.
Diagnosis delay time Within 2 seconds.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.

  2. Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “BCM”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK BCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check BCM power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.
