Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INPUT SIGNAL
-
Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect front door lock assembly LH connector.
-
Check voltage between front door lock assembly LH harness connector and ground.
(+) (–) Condition Voltage
(Approx.)Front door lock assembly LH Connector Terminal D23 1 Ground Door lock/unlock switch Unlock Battery voltage 2 Lock
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace front door lock assembly LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT
-
Disconnect BCM and rear door lock assembly LH connector.
-
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and front door lock assembly LH harness connector.
With Type B Meter BCM Front door lock assembly LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B23 134 D23 1 Yes 142 2 With Type A Meter BCM Front door lock assembly LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B124 134 D23 2 Yes 143 1 -
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
With Type B Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B23 134 Ground No 142 With Type A Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B124 134 Ground No 143
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

Connect BCM connector.
-
Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace front door lock assembly RH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

Disconnect BCM and rear door lock assembly RH connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and front door lock assembly RH harness connector.
With Type B Meter BCM Front door lock assembly RH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B23 132 D113 3 Yes B27 154 4 With Type A Meter BCM Front door lock assembly RH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B124 133 D113 3 Yes B125 153 4 -
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
With Type B Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B23 132 Ground No B27 154 With Type A Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B124 133 Ground No B125 153
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

Disconnect rear door lock assembly LH connector.

Check voltage between rear door lock assembly LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace rear door lock assembly LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

Disconnect BCM connector, front door lock assembly LH connector and rear door lock assembly RH connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and rear door lock assembly LH harness connector.
With Type B Meter BCM Rear door lock assembly LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B23 142 D206 2 Yes B27 155 1 With Type A Meter BCM Rear door lock assembly LH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B124 134 D206 2 Yes B125 154 1 -
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace rear door lock assembly RH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

Disconnect BCM connector, rear door lock assembly LH connector and front door lock assembly RH connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and rear door lock assembly RH harness connector.
With Type B Meter BCM Rear door lock assembly RH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B27 154 D306 4 Yes 155 3 With Type A Meter BCM Rear door lock assembly RH Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B125 153 D306 4 Yes 154 3 -
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
With Type B Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B27 154 Ground No 155 With Type A Meter BCM — Continuity Connector Terminal B125 153 Ground No 154
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
