Threshold BCM detects the combination switch check diode positions stuck at ON for 2 seconds or more
Diagnosis delay time 2 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Harness or connector (combination switch circuit is short to battery)

  • Combination switch

  • BCM

FAIL-SAFE

Turns ON the headlamp (LO)

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT

CONSULT

  1. Erase DTC.

  2. Ignition switch OFF.

  3. Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of "BCM", when 2 seconds or more passed after the ignition switch is placed OFF (auto ACC status).

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Perform COMBINATION SWITCH SYSTEM SYMPTOMS. Refer to Symptom Table.
