Front camera unit

(Front camera unit) 		Diagnosis condition

  • When AEB system is ON

  • When driving the Nissan Ariya vehicle
Signal (terminal) —
Threshold Camera aiming is not completed
Diagnosis delay time 10 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Front camera unit aiming is not adjusted

  • Front camera unit aiming adjustment has been interrupted

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled.

  • Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode

  • Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode

  • Steering wheel assistance function

  • AEB

  • LDW

  • I-LI

  • I-BSI

  • TSR

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

  1. Start the engine.

  2. Drive the Nissan Ariya vehicle at 5 km/h (3 MPH) or more.

    CAUTION:

    Always drive safely.

  3. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

  4. Check if the “C1F05-54” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

Is “C1F05-54” detected as the current malfunction?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CAMERA AIMING ADJUSTMENT

  1. Perform the camera aiming. Refer to Work Procedure.

  2. Erase all self-diagnosis results with CONSULT.

  3. Perform “All DTC Reading”.

  4. Check if the “C1F05-54” is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

Is “C1F05-54” detected?

YES>>

Replace the front camera unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

INSPECTION END
