Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Basic information
WARNING
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions for proper use of the AEB with Pedestrian Detection system on the Nissan Rogue could result in serious injury or death.
- The AEB with Pedestrian Detection system is an assistive feature, not a substitute for the driver's attention or safe driving behavior. It cannot prevent collisions caused by inattention or unsafe driving practices.
- The system may not function in all traffic, weather, road, or visibility conditions.
The AEB with Pedestrian Detection system on the Nissan Rogue can help when there is a risk of a forward collision with:
- a vehicle traveling ahead in the same lane
- a pedestrian moving into the vehicle’s path
- a cyclist ahead in the travelling lane
Intersection Assist can provide additional support in situations such as:
- Turning left or right across the path of an oncoming vehicle
- Turning left or right when a pedestrian ahead is expected to enter the vehicle’s path

The AEB with Pedestrian Detection system uses a forward radar sensor B located at the front of the Nissan Rogue to measure distance to the vehicle ahead.
For detecting pedestrians and cyclists, the AEB system also relies on a camera A mounted behind the windshield, working together with the radar to provide more accurate detection.
