TCU has not been initialized
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT
-
Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
-
Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IVC” using CONSULT.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2E12‐55 detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
Diagnosis Procedure
PERFORM CONFIGURATION
When B2E12–55 is detected, perform configuration of TCU. Refer to Work Procedure.

GO TO 2.
PERFORM CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
With CONSULT
-
Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Erase DTC.
-
Perform confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.
Is DTC B2E12–55 detected?
YES>>Replace TCU. Refer to Removal & Installation.
NO>>INSPECTION END

Check that the following fuse is not blown:

Ignition power supply
9 (10 A)
Is the fuse blown?
YES>>
Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.
NO>>
