PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Ignition switch ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “M&A”.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2231-16 detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair:Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK BATTERY
Check battery. Refer to Work Flow.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM
Check charging system condition. Refer to Work Flow (With EXP-800 NI or GR8-1200 NI) or Work Flow (Without EXP-800 NI or GR8-1200 NI).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK COMBINATION METER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check combination meter power supply circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Disengage moonroof switch assembly fixing pawls using a remover tool, and then remove moonroof switch assembly from map lamp finisher .
