The 12V sub battery (lithium ion battery) can be diagnosed with CONSULT.
INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
12V sub battery (lithium ion battery) supplies stable power to each electrical device and ECU.

INDIVIDUAL OPERATION

Lithium ion battery, battery management unit and relay are integrated in the 12V sub battery (lithium ion battery).

The battery management unit transmits the state of 12V sub battery (lithium ion battery), such as charged, discharged, its temperature and other state, to IPDM E/R by CAN communication.
COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION
The 12V sub battery (lithium ion battery) is mounted under the passenger seat. Refer to Component Parts Location.
