Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK DTC WITH AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT
Check that DTC is not detected with air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Refer to DTC Index.
CHECK DTC WITH COMBINATION METER
Check that DTC is not detected with combination meter.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Refer to DTC Index (Type A meter) or DTC Index (Type B meter).
CHECK COMBINATION METER POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check combination meter unit power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (Type A meter) or Diagnosis Procedure (Type B meter).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
REPLACE AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT

Replace air bag diagnosis sensor unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Check SRS air bag warning lamp operation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End
NO>>GO TO 5.
REPLACE COMBINATION METER
-
Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation (Type A meter) or Removal and Installation (Type B meter).

Check SRS air bag warning lamp operation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End
NO>>Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
