Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
Use waste to protect parts potential to interfere from being scratched.
REMOVAL
Remove console finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove parking brake switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove drive mode select switch fixing screws 
, and then remove drive mode select switch from console finisher . (2WD models)
Remove drive mode select switch fixing screws , and then remove drive mode select switch from console finisher . (AWD models)
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

CHECK FUSE
Check that the following fuse is not blown:
Signal name Fuse No.
Ignition power supply
9 (10 A)
Is the fuse blown?
YES>>
Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

Turn ON any switch in the system that is malfunctioning.
Check duty ratios between BCM harness connector and ground by using an oscilloscope.
