Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSES

Check that the following fuses are not blown:

Unit Power source Fuse No. Capacity
AWD control unit Battery 22 15 A
Ignition switch ON or START 9 10 A

Is the fuse blown?

YES>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Disconnect AWD control unit harness connector.

  2. Check voltage between AWD control unit harness connector and ground.

    (+) (−) Ignition switch position
    AWD control unit
    Connector Terminal OFF ON START
    C75 6 Ground Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage
    5 Ground 0 V Battery voltage Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between AWD control unit harness connector and ground.

    AWD control unit — Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    C75 1 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.
