Inhibit the idle start/stop system
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Start the engine and let it idle and wait for 2 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “Sub starter & generator”.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Check CAN communication system. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
REPLACE ECM
-
Replace ECM. Refer to ECM : Removal & Installation.

Perform “DTC Confirmation Procedure”. Refer to DTC Description.
Is DTC“P1C92-82” displayed again?
YES>>Replace sub starter & generator. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Inspection End.
