Cruise control (ProPILOT Assist 1.1/ProPILOT Assist 2.1 ) operation prohibited

Confirmation Procedure

PRECONDITIONING

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.

  1. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

  2. Ignition switch ON.

  3. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

TEST CONDITION:

Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is between more than 11 V at idle.

GO TO 2 .

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Start the engine.

  2. Perform driving using the cruise control.

  3. Depress the brake pedal several times while paying close attention to the surrounding conditions.

  4. Check self-diagnostic result in “ECM”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair : Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECKING THE SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT FOR THE ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT)

With CONSULT

Check to see if the DTC is detected in the self-diagnosis result for the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). Refer to DTC Index.

Is the DTC detected?

YES>>

Repair or replace the relevant item in the self-diagnosis result.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT

Perform trouble diagnosis for CAN communication circuit. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Repair or replace error-detected parts.
