POSSIBLE CAUSE

Harness or connectors (12V battery voltage circuits are open or short circuit)

FAIL-SAFE
Inhibit the idle start/stop system
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Start the engine and let it idle and wait for 1 second or more.

Wait for 1 second or more.

Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “Sub starter & generator”.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK 12V BATTERY
Check 12V battery. Refer to Work Flow.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Replace 12V battery. Refer to Removal and Installation.
