Humidity temperature sensor

(Humidity temperature sensor Circuit Low) 		Diagnosis condition IGN ON
Signal (terminal) Humidity temperature sensor　signal
Threshold An excessively low temperature output from the humidity temperature sensor is sent to ECM.
Diagnosis delay time 2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Humidity temperature sensor (Mass air flow sensor)

FAIL-SAFE

Not applicable

DTC Confirmation Procedure

DTC Confirmation Procedure

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has previously conducted,alwaiys peiform the following procedure before conducting the next tesut.

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

  2. Turn ignition switch ON.

  3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

Is DTC is detected?

>>

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

  1. Start engine and wait at least 30 seconds.

  2. Check DTC.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

REPLACE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR

Replace Mass air flow sensor. Refer to Exploded View.
