Component Inspection
EXHAUST CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR-1

Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Loosen the sensor mounting bolt.
-
Disconnect the exhaust camshaft position sensor harness connector.
-
Remove the exhaust camshaft position sensor.
-
Visually check the sensor for chipping.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Replace exhaust camshaft position sensor. Refer to Exploded View.

Check resistance between exhaust camshaft position sensor terminals as shown below.
