Component Function Check

CHECK FUNCTION

Check rear power window motor LH operation with rear power window switch LH and power window main switch (rear LH switch).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect power window main switch connector, rear power window switch LH connector and rear power window switch RH connector.

  3. Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and rear power window switch LH harness connector.

  4. Check continuity between rear power window switch LH harness connector and ground.

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH

Check rear power window switch LH.

Refer to Component Inspection.

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Replace rear power window switch LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH 1

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect rear power window switch LH connector.

  3. Check continuity between rear power window switch LH terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2

NO>>

Replace rear power window switch LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH 2

Check voltage rear power window switch LH terminals under the following conditions:

GO TO 3

NO>>

Replace rear power window switch LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH 3

Check voltage rear power window switch LH terminals under the following conditions:
