Moonroof Motor Assembly

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check that the following fuse is not blown (open):

    Fuse No. Capacity
    31 15 A

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES>>

Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK MOONROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY

  1. Disconnect moonroof motor assembly connector.

  2. Ignition switch ON.

  3. Check voltage between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

    (Approx.)
    Moonroof motor assembly
    Connector Terminal
    R4 6 Ground Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK MOONROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

Moonroof motor assembly (—) Continuity

R4 1 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

Sunshade Motor Assembly

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check that the following fuse is not blown (open):

    Fuse No. Capacity
    31 15 A

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES>>

Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK SUNSHADE MOTOR ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY

  1. Disconnect sunshade motor assembly connector.

  2. Ignition switch ON.

  3. Check voltage between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.

    Sunshade motor assembly

    R5 6 Ground Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK SUNSHADE MOTOR ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.
