Power Window Main Switch
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Ignition switch OFF, and then wait for 3 minutes with driver door open.
NOTE:
-
Even after ignition switch is OFF, power is supplied to accessories for a certain amount of timer by the AUTO ACC function.
-
When Nissan Ariya vehicle is operate while on standby, power may be supplied to accessories.
-
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open):
Fuse No. Capacity 45 5 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY
-
Disconnect power window main switch connector.
-
Ignition switch ON.
-
Check voltage between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
(+) (–) Voltage

D27*23 Ground Battery voltage *1: With automatic drive positioner
*2: Without automatic drive positioner
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
Power window main switch (–) Continuity Connector Terminal D6*1
D27*222 Ground Yes *1: With automatic drive positioner
*2: Without automatic drive positioner
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
Front Power Window Switch Lh
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open):
Fuse No. Capacity 59 20 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Repair the blown (open) fuse repairing the affected circuit if a fuse blown (open).
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY
-
Disconnect front power window switch (passenger side) connector.
-
Ignition switch ON.
-
Check voltage between front power window switch (passenger side) harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 7.
NO>>GO TO 3.
CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY POWER SUPPLY

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Remove power window relay.
-
Check voltage between fuse block (J/B) and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) and front power window switch (passenger side) harness connector.

CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

Disconnect BCM connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and fuse block (J/B).

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY
Check power window relay.
Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace power window relay.
CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Check continuity between front power window switch (passenger side) harness connector and ground.
Front power window switch (passenger side) (–) Continuity Connector Terminal D112 3 Ground Yes 7
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
Rear Power Window Switch
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSIBLE LINK

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fusible link is not blown (open):
Fusible link No. Capacity KK 30 A
Is the fusible link blown (open)?
YES>>Repair the blown (open) fusible link after repairing the affected circuit if a fusible link blown (open).
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH POWER SUPPLY
-
Disconnect rear power window switch connector.
-
Ignition switch ON.
-
Check voltage between rear power window switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 7.
NO>>GO TO 3.
CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY POWER SUPPLY

Repair or replace harness.
YES>>Inspection End.
