Diagnosis delay time 1.5 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Seat cushion heater RH

  • Rear seat back heater RH

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Start the engine.

  2. Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “HVAC”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK REAR SEAT BACK HEATER RH CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect rear seat heater RH connector and rear seat back heater RH connector.

  3. Check continuity between rear seat back heater RH harness connector and ground.

    Rear seat back heater RH — Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    B413 2 Ground No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace rear seat back heater RH. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

NO>>

Replace seat cushion heater RH. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
