Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR SERIAL COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR SERIAL COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect hands free sensor control unit connector and BCM connector.

  3. Check continuity between hands free sensor control unit harness connector and BCM harness connector.

  4. Check continuity between hands free sensor control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.
