Consult Function

CONSULT FUNCTIONS

CONSULT performs the following functions via the communication with the around view monitor control unit.

Diagnosis mode Function
Self diagnosis result The around view monitor control unit self diagnosis results are displayed.
ECU identification The around view monitor control unit part number is displayed.
Work supports Changes setting of each function.
Data monitor The around view monitor control unit input/output data is displayed in real time.
Replace ECU Writes the Nissan Ariya vehicle specification when replacing the around view monitor control unit.

Freeze Frame Data (FFD)

The following vehicle status is recorded when DTC is detected and is displayed on CONSULT.

Power supply state Displays the power supply status when DTC is detected.
GADE Displays the DTC detection function status
Shift position Displays the shift position when DTC is detected.

ECU IDENTIFICATION

The part number of around view monitor control unit is displayed.

WORK SUPPORTS

Work support items Description
MAC key writing Writes MAC key to around view monitor control unit.
PREDICTIVE COURSE LINE DISPLAY Select on/off for predictive course line.
MOD function

Select ON/OFF for MOD function.

NOTE:

After selection, turn OFF the ignition switch.
Initialize camera image calibration

The calibration can be initialized to factory shipment condition.

NOTE:

Calibration of camera image caused by misalignment of the camera installation position is performed.
Fine tuning of Birds-Eye view Performs the Birds-Eye view fine tuning.
Parameter writing (All camera) When replacing each camera, it is necessary to write the camera parameters using CONSULT.
Calibrating camera image Performs the camera calibration.
OTA status reset

[On/Off] 		Reception status of camera OFF signal received from AV control unit is displayed.

REAR CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

[OK/NG] 		Input status of rear camera image signal is displayed in real time.

[OK/NG] 		Communication status of rear camera is displayed in real time.

[OK/NG] 		Status of communication line of rear camera is displayed in real time.

Front camera image signal

[OK/NG] 		Input status of front camera image signal is displayed in real time.
