Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Service Manual: Basic Inspection :: System Initialization
Description
Initialization of system should be conducted after the following conditions: Refer to Work Procedure.

When the moonroof motor assembly or sunshade motor assembly is replaced.

When the moonroof or sunshade does not operate normally. (Incomplete initialization conditions)
Work Procedure
PERFORM SYSTEM INITIALIZATION

Close moonroof and sunshade.

Press and hold the moonroof switch CLOSE for apporximately 10 seconds.
Moonroof and sunshade will move as following:
Moonroof tilt up, and the sunshade slightly close and stops.

Release the moonroof switch, and continue to press the moonroof switch CLOSE again soon.
Moonroof and sunshade will move as following:
Sunshade fully open → moonroof tilt down → moonroof fully open → moonroof fully closed → sunshade fully closed.

Release the moonroof switch after moonroof and sunshade stopped.

CHECK THE FUNCTION

Check that moonroof and sunshade automatically operated normally.

Check anti-pinch function. Refer to Description.
