Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Basic information
WARNING
Failure to follow the instructions and limitations of the I-BSI system could result in serious injury or death.
- The I-BSI system does not replace safe driving practices. Always check mirrors and visually confirm the lane is clear before changing lanes.
- The radar system has detection limits. Certain vehicles, road conditions, or weather may prevent accurate detection. Always rely on your own judgment to avoid accidents.
The I-BSI system helps alert the driver to vehicles in adjacent lanes and can assist in guiding the vehicle back toward the center of the lane if a potential side-collision risk is detected.
The system uses rear-mounted radar sensors A to detect nearby vehicles, and a front camera B (behind the windshield) to monitor lane markers.

Detection zone
The detection zone extends from the outside mirror area back approximately 10 ft (3.0 m), and sideways up to 10 ft (3.0 m) from the rear bumper.
