Signal (terminal) Sound signal
Threshold 0.5 V or less
Diagnosis delay time 1 second or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Sound signal circuit is short to ground

  • AV control unit

FAIL-SAFE

Telematics sound is not output

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IVC” using CONSULT.

  5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B2E32‐11 detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK TEL VOICE SIGNAL CIRCUIT

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect AV control unit and TCU harness connector.

  3. Check the continuity between AV control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.
