Threshold Detected a malfunction of headlamp RH (LO) circuit
Diagnosis delay time 1 second or less

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Front combination lamp RH

    • LED [headlamp (LO)]

    • LED headlamp control module

FAIL-SAFE

  • Transmits the headlamp warning signal (CAN communication) to the combination meter (when the ignition switch is placed ON, the headlamp warning is displayed on the information display of the combination meter).

  • Transmits the request signal to the both side LED headlamp control module via LIN communication, and turns ON the headlamp (LO) and parking lamp.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “IPDM E/R”.

  3. Check DTC.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

REPLACE HEADLAMP RH

Replace front combination lamp RH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
