Automatic brake hold indicator light (white)

The automatic brake hold indicator light (white) illuminates when the automatic brake hold system in the Nissan Rogue is on standby.

Automatic brake hold indicator light (green)

Nissan Rogue. Warning/indicator Lights

The automatic brake hold indicator light (green) illuminates when the automatic brake hold system is actively operating on your Nissan Rogue.

Exterior light indicator

Nissan Rogue. Warning/indicator Lights

This indicator illuminates when the headlight switch is turned to the AUTO, or position, meaning the exterior lighting systems of the Nissan Rogue—such as front parking lights, rear combination lights, license plate lights, or headlights—are turned on. The indicator turns off when these lights are switched off.

High beam assist indicator light

The high beam assist indicator light illuminates when the high beam assist system is turned on and functioning.

High beam indicator light

This light illuminates when the headlight high beams are on and turns off when low beams are selected.

Turn signal/hazard indicator lights

The indicator flashes when the turn signal lever or hazard switch is activated.

Audible reminders

Light reminder chime

The light reminder chime will sound when the headlight switch is in the or position after the engine is turned off and the driver's door is opened while the exterior lights remain on. Turn the switch to OFF or AUTO before leaving the Nissan Rogue.

Driving Aid chimes (if so equipped)

An audible alert may sound if any of the following systems are active:

  • Blind Spot Warning (BSW)

*Only when Steering Assist (if equipped) is turned on.

Door lock warning chime

When the warning chime sounds, verify both the vehicle and the Intelligent Key.

Brake pad wear warning

The disc brake pads include audible wear indicators. When replacement is needed, a high-pitched scraping sound may be heard when the Nissan Rogue is in motion. Initially the sound occurs only during braking; with further wear, it may be heard even without pressing the brake pedal. Have the brakes inspected promptly if this warning sound is heard.
