Threshold If ADAS control unit 2 is not receiving ethernet communication signal from distance sensor
Diagnosis delay time 5 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Ethernet harness

  • ADAS control unit 2

  • Distance sensor

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled.

  • Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode

  • Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode

  • Steering wheel assistance function

  • AEB

  • RAB

  • I-FCW

  • LDW

  • I-LI

  • BSW

  • I-BSI

  • RCTA

  • TSR

  • I-DA

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

  1. Start the engine and wait at least 5 seconds.

  2. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

  3. Check if the DTC “U2752-87” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

Is DTC “U2752-87” detected as the current malfunction?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK CONNECTOR

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check the ethernet harness connectors and terminals of ADAS control unit 2 and distance sensor for damage or looseness.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunction part, securely lock the harness connector.

PERFORM ALL DTC READING

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

  3. Check if any DTCs of ethernet (DTC “C2599-13” and/or “U275F-88”) are detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “LASER/RADAR”

Are any DTCs of ethernet detected?

YES>>

Replace the ADAS control unit 2 (Refer to Removal and Installation), and GO TO 3.

NO>>

Replace the distance sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-1

  1. Erases all self-diagnosis results with CONSULT.

  2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC “U2752-87” detected as the current malfunction?

YES>>

Replace the distance sensor (Refer to Removal and Installation), and GO TO 4.

NO>>

INSPECTION END

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-2

  1. Erases all self-diagnosis results with CONSULT.

  2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC “U2752-87” detected as the current malfunction?

YES>>

Replace the ethernet harness between ADAS control unit 2 and distance sensor.

NO>>

INSPECTION END
