Intelligent Key button operation has poor range. (One Intelligent Key has the symptom, other keys operate normally.)

SYMPTOM TABLE (ONE INTELLIGENT KEY HAS THE SYMPTOM, OTHER KEYS OPERATE NORMALLY)

Door lock operation (remote keyless entry) Door lock operation (request switch of front/rear/back door) or trunk/back door open operation (opener switch of trunk/back door panel) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (Intelligent Key is within the detection area of inside key antenna) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (registered Intelligent Key placed next to push-button ignition switch) Unlock operation when approaching the Nissan Ariya vehicle, lock operation when away from the vehicle (registered Intelligent Key is within the detection area of outside key antenna)

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM SYMPTOM TABLE

Check Intelligent Key system symptom table.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY LOW BATTERY WARNING

Check that the Intelligent Key low battery warning operates.

Is the Intelligent Key low battery warning operated?

YES>>

Replace Intelligent Key battery. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

GO TO 3.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY

Check the Intelligent Key battery. Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace Intelligent Key and register new Intelligent Key.

NO>>

Replace Intelligent Key battery. Refer to Removal and Installation.
