Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open)
Power source Fuse No. Capacity Battery #25 20 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Replace fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK AV CONTROL UNIT BATTERY POWER SUPPLY
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect AV control unit harness connector.
-
Check the voltage between AV control unit harness connector and ground.
Without BOSE (+) (−) Voltage AV control unit Connector Terminal M101 19 Ground Battery voltage With BOSE (+) (−) Voltage AV control unit Connector Terminal M121 19 Ground Battery voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Perform trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check the continuity between AV control unit and ground.
Without BOSE (+) (−) Continuity AV control unit Connector Terminal M101 20 Ground Existed With BOSE (+) (−) Continuity AV control unit Connector Terminal M121 20 Ground Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
Display Unit
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open)
Power source Fuse No. Capacity Battery #27 10 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Replace fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DISPLAY UNIT BATTERY POWER SUPPLY
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect display unit harness connector.
-
Check the voltage between display unit harness connector and ground.
(+) (−) Voltage
Approx.Display unit Connector Terminal M40 1 Ground Battery voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Perform trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check the continuity between display unit and ground.
(+) (−) Continuity Display unit Connector Terminal M40 8 Ground Yes
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
Active Noise Control Unit
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open)
Power source Fuse No. Capacity Battery #28 20 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Replace fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL UNIT BATTERY POWER SUPPLY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect active noise control unit harness connector.
-
Check the voltage between active noise control unit harness connector and ground.
(+) (−) Voltage Active noise control unit Connector Terminal B94 29 Ground Battery voltage 36
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Perform trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check the continuity between active noise control unit and ground.
(+) (−) Continuity Active noise control unit Connector Terminal B94 25 Ground Existed 30
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
Bose Speaker Amp.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open)
Power source Fuse No. Capacity Battery #28 20 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Replace fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK BOSE SPEAKER AMP. BATTERY POWER SUPPLY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect BOSE speaker amp. harness connector.
-
Check the voltage between BOSE speaker amp. harness connector and ground.
(+) (−) Voltage BOSE speaker amp. Connector Terminal B38 1 Ground Battery voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Perform trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Check the continuity between BOSE speaker amp. and ground.
(+) (−) Continuity BOSE speaker amp. Connector Terminal B38 5 Ground Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
