(Trouble diagnosis content)
DTC detection condition
P2566 00

TC BOOST CONTROL POSITN SEN A

(Turbocharger boost control position sensor A circuit intermittent)
Diagnosis condition
  • Battery voltage: 8 V or more

  • Ignition switch: ON

Signal (terminal)
Threshold An excessively low voltage from the wastegate control valve position sensor is sent to the ECM.
Diagnosis delay time 1 seconds

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Harness or connectors

(Wastegate control valve position sensor circuit is open or shorted.)

  • Electric wastegate control actuator

FAIL-SAFE

Engine Control System

Fail safe mode Nissan Ariya Vehicle behavior
Traveling control mode Engine output control

ECM reduces the engine output, according to the rise in engine speed. This reduces the Nissan Ariya vehicle speed to encourage the driver to repair malfunction.

  • Driving at 70 km/h (44 MPH) or more is possible.

NOTE:

This value is a reference value converted from engine power to Nissan Ariya vehicle speed. Actual power limitation value differs due to the malfunctioning part and driving condition.

Device fix mode
  • This mode fixes the electric IVT control actuator and the EVT control solenoid valve in the reference position.

  • A control signals is not transmitted to the EGR volume control valve and the EGR volume control is deactivated.
