EGR SENSOR B

(EGR sensor B circuit range/performance)
Diagnosis condition
Signal (terminal)
Threshold

ECM detects the following status continuously for 5 seconds or more:

A difference between the output level of EGR differential pressure sensor and the differential pressure before and after EGR volume control valve calculated by ECM based on "target working factor of EGR" is bigger than specified value.
Diagnosis delay time

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Harness or connectors (EGR differential pressure sensor circuit is open or shorted.)

  • EGR differential pressure sensor

FAIL-SAFE

Fail safe mode Nissan Ariya Vehicle behavior
Device fix mode
  • This mode fixes the electric IVT control actuator and the EVT control solenoid valve in the reference position.

  • A control signals is not transmitted to the EGR volume control valve and the EGR volume control is deactivated.
