EGR TEMP SENSOR A

(EGR temperature sensor A circuit high)
Diagnosis condition
Signal (terminal)
Threshold ECM detects that a voltage signal from EGR temperature sensor is less than 4.96 V for 5 consecutive seconds.
Diagnosis delay time

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Harness or connectors (EGR temperature sensor circuit is open or shorted.)

  • EGR temperature sensor

FAIL-SAFE

Fail safe mode Nissan Ariya Vehicle behavior
Device fix mode
  • This mode fixes the electric IVT control actuator and the EVT control solenoid valve in the reference position.

  • A control signals is not transmitted to the EGR volume control valve and the EGR volume control is deactivated.
