Automatic Speed Control Device (ascd)

Operation

SWITCHES AND INDICATORS

ASCD indicator CANCEL switch RES+ switch

SET SPEED RANGE

ASCD system can be set the following vehicle speed.

SWITCH OPERATION

Item Function
CANCEL switch Cancels the cruise control driving.

RES+ switch

RESUME/ACCELERATE

  • Resumes the set speed.

  • Increases speed incrementally during cruise control driving.

SET− switch

SET/COAST

  • Sets desired cruise speed.

  • Decreases speed incrementally during cruise control driving.
MAIN switch Master switch to activate the ASCD system.

Fail-Safe Malfunction of stop/start system —

*1: Engine is stalled after alert for 1.5 seconds.

*2: This is indicated only for 1.5 seconds after the stop/start OFF switch is turned from OFF to ON.

*3: This is indicated only for 1.5 seconds after the stop/start OFF switch is turned from ON to OFF.
