Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Service Manual: On Board Diagnostic (obd) System
Diagnosis Description
This system is an on board diagnostic system that records exhaust emission-related diagnostic information and detects a sensors/actuator-related malfunction. A malfunction is indicated by the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and stored in ECU memory as a DTC. The diagnostic information can be obtained with the diagnostic tool (GST: Generic Scan Tool).

When GST is connected with a data link connector equipped on the vehicle side, it will communicate with the control unit equipped in the Nissan Ariya vehicle and then enable various kinds of diagnostic tests. Refer to Description.

CHECK LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP FUNCTION
Turn ignition switch ON.
Pinch fuel feed hose with two fingers.
Fuel pressure pulsation should be felt on the fuel feed hose for 1 second after ignition switch is turned ON.
Is the inspection result normal?
