Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK METER SPEAKER CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect combination meter harness connector and meter speaker harness connector.

  3. Check the continuity between combination meter harness connector and meter speaker harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK METER SPEAKER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Check the continuity between meter speaker harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK METER SPEAKER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Check the voltage between meter speaker harness connector and ground.

YES>>

Replace meter speaker. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>
