Combination Meter

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

Check that the following fuses are not blown:

Combination meter Fuse block (J/B) 29 5A
6 5A

Is the fuse blown?

YES>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Disconnect combination meter harness connector.

  2. Check voltage between combination meter harness connector and ground.

    (+) (–) Ignition switch position
    Combination meter
    Connector Terminal OFF ON START
    M76 5 Ground Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage
    6 0V Battery voltage Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.

    Connector Terminal
    M76 7 Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Repair harness or connector.
