Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect Head Up Display unit harness connector and Head Up Display switch harness connector.
-
Check continuity between Head Up Display unit harness connector and Head Up Display main switch harness connector.
Head Up Display unit Head Up Display switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M110 13 M109 6 Yes -
Check continuity between Head Up Display unit harness connector and ground.
Head Up Display unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M110 13 No
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair harness or connector.
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between Head Up Display main switch harness connector and ground.

GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair harness or connector.
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY SWITCH
Check Head Up Display switch. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace Head Up Display unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace Head Up Display main switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Component Inspection
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY SWITCH

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Remove Head Up Display switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
-
Check the continuity between Head Up Display switch terminals as per the following condition.
Head Up Display switch Condition Continuity Terminal 6 8 Press the Head Up Display switch Yes Other then above No
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Replace Head Up Display switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
