Component Inspection
CHECK EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
-
Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect EGR temperature sensor harness connector.
-
Remove EGR temperature sensor.
-
Check resistance between EGR temperature sensor terminals.
EGR temperature sensor Condition Resistance + − Terminals 1 2 Temperature 0°C (32°F) 624 –1053 kΩ 50°C (122°F) 64.6 –93.5 kΩ 100°C (212°F) 11.4 –15.1 kΩ
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Replace EGR temperature sensor. Refer to Exploded View.
