CHECK FUNCTION

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Select “Sliding motor” in “Active test” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

  3. Check sliding motor LH operation.

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SLIDING MOTOR POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect sliding motor LH connector.

  3. Ignition switch ON.

  4. Select “Sliding motor” in “Active test” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

  5. Check voltage between sliding motor LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace seat cushion frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK SLIDING MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (OPEN)

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.

  3. Check continuity between sliding motor LH harness connector and driver seat control unit harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.

CHECK SLIDING MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)

Check continuity between sliding motor LH harness connector and ground.

YES>>

Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.
