Front Door Lock

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).

Signal name Fuse No.
Front door lock actuator power supply 12 (10 A)

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES>>

Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect BCM connector.

  3. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

    B23 (with type B meter)

    B124 (with type A meter)
    135 Ground Battery voltage

Is the measurement value normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

Rear Door Lock

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE

Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).

Signal name Fuse No.
Rear door lock actuator power supply 14 (10 A)

Is the fuse blown (open)?

YES>>

Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect BCM connector.

  3. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the measurement value normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

Automatic Back Door Control Unit

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSIBLE LINK

Check that the following fusible link is not blown (open).

Fusible link No. Signal name
JJ (30 A) Battery power supply

Is the fusible link blown (open)?

YES>>

Replace the blown (open) fusible link after repairing the affected circuit if a fusible link is blown (open).

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect automatic back door control unit connector.

  3. Check voltage between automatic back door control unit harness connector and ground.

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

  2. Check voltage between Intelligent Key unit harness connector and ground.

  3. Check voltage between hands free sensor control unit harness connector and ground.
